What is a reserved price?
Updated
When a seller creates an auction, he or she may add the option Reserved price. That means that the bidding has to reach a certain level decided by the seller before a winning bid is decided. Unless the bidding reaches the amount the seller has chosen the highest bidder does not win the listing.
The reserved price is always hidden from the bidders; only the seller can view it. As a bidder, the text “Reserved price not reached” is displayed, should that be the case.
