Klarna was launched as a payment option at Tradera during 2022. In this guide you can find the most common questions and answers. Its only possible to use Klarna at Tradera if you are a Swedish citizen. 

For the Buyer

Q: Does this mean that other payment options will be removed?
A: No, we have no plans of removing any of our payment options.

Q: In Klarnas checkout Swish is an option, will every Swish payment be made through Klarna?
A: No, regular Swish payments will still be an option.

Q: Is the buyer protection included when paying with Klarna?
A: Yes, buyer protection is mandatory when paying with Klarna and it costs 5 SEK + 5% of the items cost, max 750 SEK . In other words it works exactly the same as when you pay with PayPal or Paynova.

Q: Will i be registered as a Klarna customer when I buy something at Tradera?
A: No, you will only be registered if you chose to pay with Klarna.

Q: How can I use my buyer protection?
A: You start a dispute in the Klarna app.

For the Seller

Q: If the buyer use the Pay Later alternative, will I as the seller need to wait for the payment?
A: No, the payment will registered instantly.

Q: Is there any form of seller protection when the buyer use Klarna?
A: Yes, all of our payment options with buyer protection also have seller protection. As a seller you are required to use a trackable shipping options for the seller protection to apply.

Q: Will I as a seller be registered at Klarna?
A: No, we don't share any information about the seller, its only if you pay with Klarna that you will b registered as a customer.
